Can't write a bad review on this but thought I should point out something. The description says "large" and even gives the measurements, but if you're like me just see the large and accept it. This "big" is very small. It says it's great for ball pythons, but I've had mine since he was a kid and he wouldn't fit in from day one. This product is a great idea but I just wish they made more of it.

I have an African fat tailed gecko and since geckos need more moisture than leopard geckos I thought this skin would be perfect for her. She loves it and rarely uses her other skins anymore. The ceramic top bowl is easy to fill and doesn't collect dirt or dust like the moisture bowls I've used that have been placed under your skin. Keep in mind that this is a fairly small hideout and probably not suitable for reptiles larger than 8 inches.

My leopard gecko used this as a main skin straight away. she loved it. It's pitch black and she has enough space to lie down all day. Unfortunately, this does not increase the humidity in the box.
