I have the third set. In general, Omix-Ada is a good OEM level product. However, they break easily in the "button" part. The metal contact falls off easily.

The two halves are gussets but only a very small heating rod (pillar of molten plastic) holds the two halves together. This is clearly not enough to tension the spring. Didn't bother to return it, there wasn't enough plastic to melt it so it went in the trash.

I took it out of the box, pushed it with my thumb like a closing door and it broke. Put back the piece of metal with my little flashlight to melt the little black button on the back like a factory. I tried tightening the wire and it broke again. Total nonsense, DO NOT BUY. Now I will try to find Gorman.

I broke it before installing it because the metal the wire goes into is only held by a tiny piece of plastic. I then super glued it and crossed my thumbs. It held together, but the contact point is very different than on the driver's side and less reliable. In most cases this does not work. The driver's side plunger switch is grounded through the wire harness; I want to put a ground switch on the wiring harness so I can open the doors WITHOUT a light if I want to or if I don't have doors.
