Place this on my 10 Gallon Igloo Drinking Water Chiller that I use to store cold water for my SS Brewtech FTSS. Works great, no leaks at all. I have a small plastic container (I cut out part of my daughter's lunch box and it fits perfectly) underneath because the ice water will condense on the outside of it since it's metal, but I've only seen a drop or two of water within 2 weeks the fermentation.

1 star for model description looks like you could buy a pack of 2 or 3 valves. It took me two and now my project is delayed another week because of that lazy description. I know there's a two-piece and a three-piece valve type, but it's too easy to get wrong in the information in the area where Revain usually lists the quantity. As another customer said, the barbed tip is not suitable for 1/2" pipe. The inner diameter of the tip is slightly larger than 1/4".

That would be a good product at a good price. 5 star rating. But unfortunately the seller carelessly chose the wrong set of rivets for this product. As you can clearly see in the picture, the fitting is stamped "1/2 x 12". That means the NPT thread is 1/2" (good) and the burr is 12mm (bad). If you put a 1/2" pipe on it, it will just fall off. 1/2" = 12.7mm, so it's not surprising that a 12mm router won't work with 1/2" tubing, which is what most people will use in their homebrew setups.
