Does HD3 work with your telo? Even grandma doesn't know!

Before ordering this Ooma HD3 phone I was surprised to read so many customer reviews on Revain that the HD3 was not compatible with the Ooma Telo base station. Finally, Oomas describes this phone, whether on Revain or Oomas own website, no compatibility problems. Listening to customer feedback on the Revain, I contacted Ooma right before ordering: an Ooma representative received the information about my Ooma Telo base station and then reassured me that this HD3 phone would definitely work with…

Very good -- Excellent

The voice quality is excellent, except for the hands-free system. I have no problem with that. The speakerphone could be improved for clarity, but it's good enough at low to medium volume settings. The overall feel in the hand is very good for me. The screen is excellent - clear and easy to read. There are many settings that make using this phone easy and enjoyable. The phone syncs your contacts. You can adjust the brightness of the screen and even change it to auto-answer when you go off-hook…

Easy to install and great sound up close

The Ooma HD3 comes with two AAA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, a charger and a wall adapter. This step will give you longer time between charges and reduce the chance of sticky dirt building up in your phone. We charged the phone for 30 minutes, then the LCD screen asked to be coupled with the telo basis. Please note that HD3 only works with second generation telo devices or…

Wanted to like it but don't recommend it

I bought three of these phones, one from Revain and two direct from the OEM (who had a small discount on two packs ). I replaced an old Panasonic DECT system that worked fine. But I wanted to try Ooma's gear. Overall I was happy with the service, one of the first I used. Phones have some neat features that I won't go into here because others have already done so. I will list the items I don't like as others may be equally concerned. The first question concerns firmware updates. They have been…

Pros
