OpenNMS - Best FOSS tool available till date

The best part about opennms is that it's easy to configure, manage, monitor, troubleshoot, scale etc. It has some of the best features out there in this business space. I haven't found anything yet which i dislike. if you are looking for an advanced monitoring solution with many bells & whistles then go ahead and give it a try. Monitoring our environments at work using opennms. We're able to see all devices connected to our LAN/WAN in real time from anywhere we have internet access. This allows

Easy way monitoring large network - Great combination between GUI-based configs along

The ease of use, scalability, availability of plugins for other 3rd party products are some of the best features that I like about this product. It is open source so there can be many customizations done to suit your needs. So if you do not find what you need in the default configuration then it's easy enough to customize as per requirements. We have used OpenNMS to monitor our Cisco switches and routers. This has really helped us in troubleshooting issues with the devices very quickly. And…
