I like this scanner, but it's expensive and a little strange. Sometimes he does funny things that are annoying. For example, when I'm at home, I put the scanner away and walk away, but I have my phone with me. So if I need to write a message, I can't just turn it off because I'm out of range. I had to make several calls to Opticon over the course of 3-4 days to get the latest software for this scanner. You can just leave a message and they say they will call you back within 24-48 hours. When I finally managed to speak to someone, I was told that my device was shut down because it didn't have the latest firmware. It took about 2-3 hours and I had to call back after the problem started. Another 1-2 hours on the phone, but it's ok now. Opticon is unfamiliar with the Revain app that…
