If you've ever bought an ethernet cable in bulk and plugged your ends into it, you NEED one of these. This one works just as well as others I've used in the past for a fraction of the price. I don't know if it will last many years, but for the price I'm willing to try.

Works as described!

So far I have tested several network cables (CAT5e and CAT6) along with all our phone cables. This is a simple setup and the flashing lights will tell you exactly which wires aren't working. I'm keeping it with the 9v battery removed because I won't be using it that often and I don't want the battery eating away and ruining the unit. I am very satisfied with the device, price and functionality.
