💡 Optimal Shop 24 Pin Dual PSU ATX Power Supply Motherboard Adapter Cable with Main Secondary Connection Review

Worked great for a few hours. Then he smelled a faint smell of burnt plastic. The cables were hot and threatened to melt. I don't recommend this as it was a 2x850w gold rated power supply.

The cable works great for what it is. I haven't had any functional problems. The only problem I had was that the 24-pin connectors on my PSU would not "snap" onto the connector. They are fully seated but I can separate them very easily without pressing the latch.

I bought this cable to expand my connectivity to 9+ GPUs. This cable helps keep the power supplies in sync so they start at the same time. I've tried many tricks but the cable method is the only one that works. I would recommend this cable. It's not that expensive, but it works pretty well. However, I have to warn you that connecting 24-pin ATX cables from PSUs and then to the motherboard is tricky as hell. Take your time and be careful not to pull or bend the cable pins. Much luck!

I tried several different power supplies and always the same result - in the end one of the devices failed and shut down. Sometimes right after POST, mostly during Windows startup, but always as soon as the system is loaded. Maybe it's my fault and I was stupid enough to think I could pair 2 consumables that weren't exactly the same model. However, I didn't get the results I expected, hence no more than 2 stars.
