Great product but drill a smaller hole

Purchased Optimate O-40 cable and instructions say 18mm or 23/32 inch mounting hole. I measured the diameter of the threads and found them to be very close to 11/16" so I drilled a hole that size and it fitted perfectly. With this product I can charge and maintain the tractor battery simply and easily with a battery tender. And while this product does everything I would ask it to do, I wish the cord was 16 gauge instead of 18. It would handle 13 amps instead of 10, but it wasn't worth the star…

The work is EXCELLENT! Best Replacement Parts

I have a Can Am X3 and it is very difficult to get to the tester as it is behind the passenger seat. The seats are bolted, so it takes a long time to get to the battery. I like adding cords to toys to keep the battery charged when not in use. The standard cable that comes with the charger barely reaches the edge of the seat when installed. I found this article and installed a center console bezel. Works great, no more trying to find the cord or remove the seat. In addition, it has a dust cover…

Works great but keep hidden

Seems perfect for what I need it for; as a bulkhead connector for a quick connection to my 4 amp charger to charge my 12 volt batteries in my cars that don't drive very often. Any charger with an SAE connector will work with it. An 11/16" (0.6875") drill bit is ideal for this. My caliper says the threads are .677" OD. Even a 3/4 inch hole will do if you don't mind it being a bit messy. The length is measured straight at 40 inches tip to tip. any quick and direct access to your 12v battery If…

Perfect addition to my road trailer

I was in the process of upgrading my road trailer's electrical circuit which meant a new battery box. One of the additions I made was a built in switch in the box. It worked so well that I decided to include a charging port as well so I never have to open the box for routine maintenance. This connector fully met all the requirements. I drilled a hole in the end of the box and pushed it straight in. The packaging says to drill a 23/32" hole, but don't worry, the 11/16" hole with the unibit fits…
