Well it works, I needed them, HD doesn't carry them in my store (but they have everything else you don't need with this system). Hope the orbital valve system holds up. Tired of weddings on the watering. I had 3 PVC fittings that broke at the seam which somehow caused the old valves (non-orbital, another brand (RB) that lasted about 1.5 years) to crack and leak and I threw my hands in a sign defeat and started over with this orbital system. .So far, so good.

I've been looking all over town for this part. Home Depot and Lowes don't sell it in stores. It comes with a 1" MPT manifold swivel adapter. Together, these two parts make installing the sprinkler valve easy. Plumbers don't use these two parts. So if a valve fails, you have to cut the PVC pipes and glue the new parts together , rather than just unscrewing the broken valve and replacing it with a new valve in minutes, I'd show you what I mean, but my iPhone broke at that moment.

I'm not a big fan of Orbit valves but their manifold system is excellent. You simply connect these adapters to Orbit's swivel adapters and manifolds and you can assemble a valve kit that allows you to replace a valve, filter or pressure regulator without hours of extra work and the expense of digging, cutting, gluing, etc. Parts Orbit manifolds are basically valve box specific connections that allow you to easily remove and swap out components in your valve box. , then at best you can simply…
