The only reason this item didn't get 5 stars is that it arrived with some corners chipped/damaged. Otherwise it's a decent product for the price. Easy to assemble and looks very durable. VERY DIFFICULT to assemble as NO INSTRUCTIONS are provided. I would not buy or recommend anyone else. On the side, some screw holes show unpainted wood (no dowels). GOOD DESIGN but poor wood quality. chipboard splinter when screws are tightened; I had 3 splits on the rear bars. I bought two of these to put in my apartment in the space under the "bar" between the kitchen and living room. They came together very easily, each lasting half an hour. The only snag I encountered was that some of the holes still had pieces of wood in them, I believe from the stamp they were made with.
