    Amazing power! Even at low settings.

    Awesome performance! Even at low revs this thing has more power than the last two cars I've owned together. If you then switch to high, it will clean the floor UNDER the carpet. Within 20 minutes he doubled his weight because he gained so much weight that there were no other vacuums. I understand why everyone but a couple is giving 5 stars and I totally agree.     This is an ordinary handheld vacuum - works great

    Nothing fancy here. This is an Oreck upright vacuum cleaner that is built to last. We have an Oreck piano that still works after 15 years. Use an old one in a guest house after the whimsical Dirty Devil died and needed another for the main house. It works great on our varnished concrete floors and carpets. Easy to maneuver and easy to carry. Fits easily in, under and around furniture. Almost moves forward with the action of the roller brush. Nice long cord and very powerful - effortlessly picks

    Lightweight, powerful vacuum and also very noisy

    My wife and I had a vacuum that worked well but was very heavy and we wanted something lighter so we bought this 8 pound Oreck is light, manoeuvrable and generally tolerates our short-pile carpets very well. We've been using it for three years now and haven't had any mechanical problems. We use it about once a week, sometimes more, and it still works the same as it did when we bought it.     Great upright vacuum cleaner for the elderly too!

    I bought a commercial model because our abandoned carpets have been suffering for over 40 years from pets, children, basement flooding, septic residue, what more can I say. We cannot afford to replace the carpets upstairs at the moment. This vacuum cleaner removes dirt and pet hair from the carpet. You will see the difference immediately!     Another great Oreck, as always

    This Oreck is as good if not better than the Oreck I bought about a dozen years ago. This thing worked like a charm and did a great job until the hull snapped at a corner from being banged against too many things too many times.
