My old Oreck lasted over 20 years and on one occasion I had to replace the pulley and drive belt. It was cumbersome to search and buy parts after the fact, so I took the initiative and bought parts before they were actually needed. The products were sealed at the factory and delivered early.

As a member of the family responsible for buying, using and maintaining vacuum cleaners, after 40 years of experience I have found that Oreck makes the best lightweight vacuum cleaners. , and that Kirby makes the best heavy-duty vacuum cleaners.
