OEM replacement hose for my parents old vacuum cleaner. I believe their original hose was over 15 years old before it finally fell into disrepair.

This hose fits my old Oreck with a handle that didn't have a cut out. This new hose is longer and just slides in and stays in place. I'm glad I bought it.

I was hesitant to purchase this hose due to conflicting reviews. I'm glad I bought it! The longer hose makes using the small vacuum much easier! It fits perfectly. The people who complained probably had a different make or model. I am very happy with this new hose!

Our Orick brand hose broke but the company don't just make the hose anymore - you have to buy a door for a handheld vacuum plus a hose. Fortunately, this product came to our rescue. It fit perfectly in the vacuum and now we can use it again instead of replacing it. My only minor gripe, as others have noted, is that it doesn't swivel, so it's a bit awkward, but the minor inconveniences are offset by the benefit of having over $200 worth of hardware with a piece worth $20 (or whatever) to fix…

This 48 inch hose is a replacement for the original Oreck(tm) handheld vacuum. The hose itself appears to be made of a better material than the original - it's stronger and more flexible than the original. Unfortunately, it is designed to connect directly to the pipe or end fitting used, now eliminating the intermediate swivel elbow that came with the original. Now you can prevent the hose from twisting while vacuuming. just by twisting the hose/nozzle itself (the original bow doesn't fit…
