Looked great, worked horribly

Didn't work period. The computer does not recognize the installed SSD and the cloning software cannot use the installed SSD. Another branded replacement device worked right out of the box.

SATA M.2 Only: Computers and Accessories

Make sure you DO NOT buy this NVME drive enclosure. This enclosure is designed for SATA drives only. So the device works perfectly. I achieve stable and fast transmission speeds. The suitcase is highly recommended.

Works great, came with no thermal pad

Easy to install, works as it should. But I can't say anything about performance. However, my unit didn't have a thermal pad, so I can't give it a perfect score if it's missing components. The housing is plastic, with a radiator cap.

One broken, one working. I'm feeling lucky.

This item appears to have been hit or missed. The first one kept crashing for me. I tried swapping them out and the new one works fine, no disconnects. So yes, hot or miss it. Luckily, Revain makes this easy, but still a bit clunky.

Make sure it matches your storage unit.

This product was difficult to assemble and there were no instructions. Pictures only. The text was in Chinese. No technical support in the US. I have to call Singapore. Revain credited me straight away and the tech understood my problem and referred me to a similar unit from another brand which arrived 2 days later and works great.

DOES NOT WORK SAVE TIME

DOES NOT WORK. He literally has a job. Accept an M2 SSD but the one plugged in just won't work. M2 drives are supposed to be the easiest thing in the world to install so this is NOT user error, I know the drive is compatible and I know I'm putting it in correctly, just the pins don't match, the gaps suck and you cannot insert your drive. Also there are about 4 listings for this one product which is pretty patchy and lots of bad reviews for each one so save yourself some time and get one that…

Small, very efficient, easy to install any SSD you want, the SSD requires no screws, it uses an excellent adjustable locking system, but the top of the case is screwed to prevent the SSD from being intruded or stolen or accidentally dropped out.
