In 1997 I bought my first original California boot. It was heavy and the mop head was thick and covered with paraffin. I had to be careful and lightly sweep the surface to avoid streaks, but it worked great! This NEW California Duster did not live up to my expectations. I used California Duster about 13 years ago. It was perfect, picking up surface dust and leaving nothing but glitter. Despite the negative reviews I've seen here, the new models work just as well.
