Great Price!: Ignition Parts

Installs and works as it should. I used to buy these coils from car dealerships and paid almost twice as much and they work the same way. The only difference I found is that there is no dielectric grease in this kit. I have a hose so it's not a problem. I could buy a big tube of lube and still save money and use it for other jobs. Would recommend this item.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Useless Features

Buy this item for my 2004 Ford F150 that had a P0301 check engine light on. The car was idling and accelerating. An exact match that I installed in 10 minutes. Reset the check engine light and it seems to be working great. Idling is smooth, when accelerating it didn't go away and the control didn't light up.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Problem

Seems to be as good as any of those more expensive parts.

I needed one of these for my fourth cylinder. I checked several car dealerships and they are between $45 and $50 each. I bought three of these and swapped out the bad one. Problem solved. I drove a little over five hours yesterday and the truck ran like new. Now I have a good working truck and some parts in case there are any problems in the future.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons

easy DIY item

I bought this a month ago and ended up installing it in my 1999 Grand Marquis. Works great, anyone can install it. The installation took me 5 minutes. I need a 7mm socket. I took one to a body shop, cost me 80.00 plus 15.00 labor. I think I paid 16.00 and changed these myself which saved me 79.00. I'll order a few more, I'm sure the other coils will die too.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great coils: Coils

I replaced all the coils on my 2002 F-150 Triton with these coils. I bought a used truck and from what I've read the bearing rollers are terrible and fail quickly. I experienced it myself shortly after buying the truck. I bought 2 new stock coils and then replaced them with these and they seem to work just as well. I can't say how long they last but I've had them for about 6 months now and they're still working.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

This does not fit the 2005 F150. That .

Will not fit 2005 F150. It's not even close to the right part. The elastic is too long for the spool to dangle. The connector is not at the right angle. The angle makes it impossible to connect to the wire and screw back to the motor. However, the company refunded my money as soon as I sent it back. I would deal with them again if that was the right part. It does not fit f150 2005.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Nothing

I figured if one of the new ones breaks, I can just replace it with one.

I was going to buy Motorcraft Coil-on-Plug for $44 but realized I could buy the whole set of 8 for the same price! I installed them on our church wagon which had a slip in cylinder 6 and worked great. I figured if one of the new ones fails I can just replace it with an OEM Motorcraft. It's been a month and so far so good! I would also recommend replacing the fuel rail injector o-rings as you will need to move them out of the way to access the coil assemblies on the connector.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Functionality

The database showed that #2 was sometimes missing. I replaced the spool with this item and don't miss it anymore! The rest is probably worth it as the Grand Marquis is 240k on original spools. Update in a month. Another coil failed so I decided to replace them all. 6 already purchased and installed. One of the six was DOA. However, Revain issued a full refund with no issues. Now I'm going to use one of the old coils and see how it goes. If I need to buy another one, I'll always take this one. 5
