My 6 year old daughter and I love our bobbin curls. We use coils on slightly damp African American hair 4c. The curls lasted all day despite the humidity. We're really looking forward to trying bigger roles.

A simple curling method. I have dexterity and spatial processing issues, but I was able to use this fairly easily. I find most hair styling tools difficult to use. And the lack of heat damage is a bonus! In addition, the curls formed quite quickly. 20 minutes or so. I will try jumbo next time for more curl.
