I bought a pancake spatula to replace my favorite Di Oro Classic spatula which broke at the silicone after over a year of continuous use. Di Oro quickly redeemed their lifetime warranty and sent a new classic spatula as a replacement. I really like this company's silicone spatulas so I took a chance on using silicone coated pancake and omelette spatulas despite mixed reviews about the durability and integrity of the coating . The lathes are nice and flexible and work as described. However, the silicone coating barely covers the bottom edge of the crepe maker's metal handle.
