After twelve years of marriage our spatula succumbed to the pressures of daily use and abuse. This spatula seemed like a good choice to me. It is quite durable and looks beautiful, perfectly withstands the heat of a gas stove. I've used this to flip pancakes and it works great on a nonstick pan. Turning the scrambled eggs wasn't easy as the spatula didn't slide easily under the eggs. I've cooked with plain eggs that have been whisked together instead of sliding a spatula under the cracking of three of the four yolks. I will say that broken yolks can easily be peeled off with a spatula, so there it is. For a woman who is particularly concerned that her scrambled eggs are too light with a slightly runny yolk intact, I'll use another spatula that I haven't found yet.
