After researching electric kettles and reading all the great reviews I bought the Osaka. Arrived quickly but after using it 6 times I noticed there were signs of rust on the inside of the bottom of the kettle. I've had other kettles too so be aware that you will notice some discoloration due to the minerals in the water whether it's filtered or not (ours is filtered) but these are brown spots that indicate rust. The seller offered a replacement but I decided to return it.

I DON'T KNOW WHY I DIDN'T BUY THIS EARLIER! I love my electric kettle! It is very easy to use and holds enough water to brew tea for about 4 people. It's nice to turn on the pot and not worry about leaving a few cups of water on the stovetop or in the microwave. It is convenient for pouring coffee or tea. I recommend not putting the tea bags in while the water is boiling to ensure the inside stays clean. I often clean the inside by boiling half a pot of water with some vinegar.

Received it today and it's already dripping from the bottom. It also has stains inside on the stainless steel base. I'm wondering if this is a used return product that has just been recycled.
