Used to replace the Viewsonic px700hd lamp. Works great

We have a Viewsonic px700hd that uses an OSRAM P-VIP 203/0.8 E30.5 lamp as standard. We only wanted to replace the bulb, not the entire assembly. There were plenty of OSRAM bulbs, but we found them all with a smaller diameter lens at 20.8. Finding someone 30.5 was next to impossible. Other specs like power were easily met at 200w vs 203, don't worry and the arc gap at 0.8 was a match too. No one, including lamp manufacturers and even ViewSonic, could test whether a 20.8-inch diameter would work

Pros
  • Office electronics
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Exact make/model originally installed in the Optoma HD142x

I ordered this to replace a burned out bulb in my Optoma HD142x and it was the best match I could find. but what I really needed was OSRAM 190. When it arrived I was happy to see that it was stamped 190. I think people who want 200 might not be so lucky, but I don't think 200 even exists. Pretty sure the ad was misprinted. It was also pleasing that the original lamp in the Optoma projector was an OSRAM 190. In this case, there's no reason to expect a non-pristine picture, and we like that. like

Works with Optoma HD141X

My Optoma HD141X projector lamp exploded after about 2000 hours. The standard bulb was P-VIP 190/0.8 E20.8. This is nowhere to be found, not even on the Osram website. So I decided to try this P-VIP 200/0.8 E20.8. The difference is in the maximum power, but from 190 to 200 it looks like a minimal change. It paid off in the end. The projector works great, I see no difference. As many reviewers point out, changing a lightbulb alone is very easy. A few more screws. You don't have to spend extraโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Replaceable

Used to replace the Viewsonic px700hd lamp. works fine

we have a viewsonic px700hd that has an OSRAM P-VIP 203/0.8 E30.5 bulb installed by default. It's impossible to resize the lamp, especially since we only wanted to replace the lamp and not the entire assembly. There were plenty of OSRAM bulbs, but we found them all with a smaller diameter lens at 20.8. Finding someone 30.5 was next to impossible. Other specs like wattage matched easily at 200w vs 203, don't worry, and the arc gap of 0.8 matched as well. No one, including lamp manufacturers andโ€ฆ

Replacement lamp for an old Optoma vdgtgzbz projector

I inherited a broken Optoma vdgtgzbz projector from an employer who no longer needs it. The obvious first step was to replace the lamp and I am happy to report that this lamp actually worked to replace it. Unfortunately, I've never seen a projector work, so I don't have a benchmark for how bright it should be. But subjectively, the brightness is satisfactory and meets my expectations. Installation was easy but required a tedious combination of gloves and tiny screws.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Annoying
