Toaster looks nice but not as good as I expected. At the normal setting of 5-6, the toast will be pale. One of 8-9 bagels, it's well toasted but takes a long time.

This OSTER toaster is terrible. It's slower than molasses and roasts unevenly. I thought it was an update and with the Oaster name behind it. Must be good right? Don't waste your time with this!

I have to run the bread through three cycles on DARK to get a decent color on my toast. My previous toaster was $7.77 and worked perfectly. I bought several and returned them all before finding this little gem. Works like a champ, makes average toast as it should, and looks way more expensive and stylish than its price tag. VERY glad I found it! Ps. I liked it so much that I bought a matching Easter microwave. They both work amazing!

This toaster is really great, I never thought I was a toaster. I get so many compliments on it. Not only does it look fantastic, it performs better than any toaster I've ever owned. It has a bagel function and an undo button. I never have to dig in to pull anything out, I feel like everything turns up great.

I bought this toaster because my last toaster that lasted 9 or 10 years was completely worn out. I was very impressed! Once I figured out how to make adjustments to make the toast perfect for what I was toasting, it was flawless. I also found the convenience of having multiple settings on the cancel button so I can toast bagels, I can toast crumpets, and I can toast thick homemade sourdough. Damn good for the money. Its worth it!

I like the color. Like any new product that is heated, it will smell the first few times you use it to burn off residue on the heating wires, so don't toast the bread right away until you've run it through a few times. EDIT February 2021 return. It doesn't have a "donut" setting, and if it does, mine doesn't work. It toasts both sides of the bagel and often turns black on the outside—the side you don't want crispy on. He also lit the top of every bun I tried to toast.
