The only downside to this waffle maker is the lack of a timer. I wish it had a light saying it was done or it would beep. But it works great, the waffles turn out really well. You just have to make sure you use the exact amount or your waffle won't be whole.

Love the ease of use. My Belgian waffle mix only makes 2 waffles. Before the first one needs to warm up for a few minutes (the brighter the display). Use the full cup provided. The waffles are big, fluffy and delicious. I love it and it was an amazing price on the best of days.

I've wanted a waffle iron for a long time. I am very happy with it. I've read many positive reviews about it, including one from a blogger who had a great buttermilk waffle recipe. You should know that this will stand upright while baking and then when you open it the waffle will be on its side and you will lift it with tongs. Cooks nice and evenly. It may take several times to figure out what color your waffles like, but on average 4 to 5 minutes. Excellent waffle maker!

I have used the product twice. It worked fine the first time with the regular batter and made perfect waffles that were crispy on the outside but chewy. There was a lot more work the second time strawberries got into the batter. Because of the top spout, any fruit, even remotely, will hang on top and prevent the batter from flowing into the mold. We make waffles ourselves! What would be better?! This machine is easy to use, fast (cooking time...prep and cleanup oops...)...the nonstick coating is truly nonstick. The first recipe in the "booklet", which leaves a lot to be desired, was too thick, but I thinned it out. it's a bit with a lot of milk. Worked great. The time of 3 minutes was tight.
