🔪 Blend with Ease: Oster 6812-001 Core 16-Speed Blender with Glass Jar, Black Review

Four of us tried to work this thing so it wouldn't come loose when mixed and jumbled. Carafe could not be made to stop rotating while blending failed. Again three others tried to get it working as I thought it was me but they had no luck. The cover at the bottom of the blender carafe is very poorly designed. The cleaning was a bummer! Abandoned and returned. Poor design and doesn't work unless you stand and hold the carafe still the whole time.

This blender used a rubber base for the blade (base that rotates to keep the blade moving). The rubber base wore out every time someone picked up the can too early. I bought this crap because my other Oyster blender caught fire. Thinking it was just some weird malfunction I bought this cheap blender as a replacement. It's also absolute garbage. Great price for such a good blender. It has a very intelligent slow start so it gradually mixes the powder into the juice and then picks up speed on its own and finishes the job! A year or two ago I bought an OSSER blender which I really liked because it worked but the glass lid broke. I was very happy with my previous OSSER compatible mixer. This new one has a weird bottom made out of cheap hard plastic, it looks like it doesn't belong there and serves no purpose other than to be more difficult to assemble and disassemble.
