Versatile set includes 10 mm and 12 mm split nuts, three spacers (3/16, 1/4, and 5/16 inch thick), plastic storage/organizer case, and instructions. 10 mm split nut works on Ford 6.9L and 7.3L diesels, GM 5.7L, 6.2L, and 6.5L diesels, and various diesel engines in import vehicles. 12 mm split nut works on various diesel engines in import vehicles, plus many agricultural and construction equipment diesel applications. It worked great! I was able to remove 4.

Works great! With this tool I was able to remove 4 swollen/stuck Autolite glow plugs on my 1989 Ford 7.3 liter diesel engine.

terrible act of mine

I purchased this item based on previous reviews, terrible act of me. The threaded nut broke on the first glow plug I tried to remove. The design of this product is terrible. If I could leave zero stars I would.

If you have Banks Turbo read this

If you have a 6.2 liter Banks Turbo you will have a very difficult time getting the 3rd connector on the passenger side in front. There is not enough clearance between the distributor and GP to rotate the split nut. Other than that, it's a good fix for a clumsy problem and works well.

Great tool! good for tools and equipment

Two glow plugs blew out at 7.3 IDI and I've tried every method I can find to get them out. I've put a 10# slide hammer on one of them to no avail. Received this tool and both plugs were off within 5 minutes. It took me longer to wrap my fingers around the glow plugs than it did to pull them out. It was made from high quality steel. Couldn't be happier.

Pulled out 5 swollen glow plugs 3 times and it worked. The product is very well made &

On my 7.3 idi I pulled out 5 swollen glow plugs this way and everything worked perfectly. The product is very well made and the material (stainless steel I think) is thick and very durable. The instructions say to hold the threaded socket with a wrench, but I struggled slightly with scrolling with my fingers. I can highly recommend this remedy.
