Effortlessly Locks Timing Tensioner - Great Investment!

According to my experience, this Engine Tool is a great investment for anyone who works on cars. The OTC 7419 Timing Tensioner Locking makes the process of locking the timing tensioner a breeze. The tool is well-made, easy to use, and saves time. The only con I could find is that it may not work on all types of vehicles. Overall, I would highly recommend this Tool for anyone who's looking for a reliable and efficient Timing Tensioner Locking tool.

Pros
  • Effortlessly locks timing tensioner
Cons
  • May not work on all vehicles

Not strong enough. fits tools and equipment

I bought this for a Honda Pilot timing belt tensioner. It deformed when the pin was removed. I was able to install the tensioner, but the pin was then no longer usable.

Pros
  • Used to lock the timing belt or chain tensioners after they have been squeezed during a service operation to remove or install the belt or chain
Cons
  • Does not work

the right tool for the job

the right tool for the job could you use something else? Of course, but if you have several tensioners, this set consists of several parts of different sizes. Didn't bend when plugged in. Works as advertised and quite cheap too

Pros
  • OTC belt/chain tensioner locking pin kit
Cons
  • not sure
