Description of OTC 8000 Standard External Internal

Internal/External Standard Threaded Adapter features high strength metal construction. For use on the ends of Push-Puller legs or forcing screws when pulling shafts, bearing caps, pinions, etc. Internal end (attaches to Push-Puller legs) is threaded 5/8-18. External end features 1/4-20 male threads. 2-1/4 inches long.

Amazing Tool for Engine Maintenance!

As a result of using this tool, I found that it is an easy-to-use yet highly effective instrument for maintaining the engine in my car. The internal and external measurement options, coupled with the sturdy build of the product, helped me troubleshoot and repair various engine cooling and climate control issues. .

Perfect for Chevy Trailblazer / GMC Envoy 4WD repair!

Had to replace the front diff on my 2005 4WD Chevy Trailblazer LT. As part of the removal process, you must remove the intermediate shaft. This is the shaft that connects the differential through the oil pan to the electronic disconnect device on the opposite side (passenger side). . A GM adapter is available for about $60 but will not fit a regular slide hammer you can rent from an auto parts store (will fit a 3/4 inch slide hammer). This product fits EXACTLY! Screw into the layshaft and a 5/8
