Quality Tools - Power & Hand Tools

I purchased this to remove and install the compensator primary sprocket on my Harley FLHTCU. OTC is a great source for quality specialty tools. Fast shipping too.

Pros
  • Sockets & Socket Sets
Cons
  • Much

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Durable at a fraction of the price of well-known brands.

Works like a champion, does what he has to do. Worked great for my 07 Roadking, used it 3 times with no problems and it easily holds 175 pounds of torque.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good quality OTC product

I wish it was made in North America but I have to admit that decent hand tools are made in Taiwan these days and OTC doesn't usually write its name on junk. I can't find anything decent without paying 3-4 times more. Suitable for Subaru drain plugs. Good product, good price.

Pros
  • square drive
Cons
  • unreliable

One for Subaru drain plugs

Leave it to the Subaru engineers to come up with a drain plug that requires a torx socket, which isn't found in any of the popular torx socket kits. Luckily, these sockets are available individually and at a reasonable price. Now when I get my Subaru in the shop I can service the diff fluids and transfer case.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Hand tools cost money

This OTC torx bit is worth the money. It has been used several times to pry out the compensator pressure screw on TC engines. For those who got the job done, a few tense moments that make you wonder what's going to break first. Needless to say, this bit was up to the challenge. No twisting, no chipping, no scars. Looks just as good as when I got it.

Pros
  • Custom sockets
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
