Description of ⚙️ OTC 6191 TORX PLUS Bit Socket - High-Quality TP50 Socket with 3/8" Square Drive - Perfect for Versatile Applications

TP50 Torx PLUS bit socket with 3/8 inch square drive; Torx PLUS design is an evolution of the original Torx design that features lobes that are more square to allow for higher torque and minimize wear. Torx PLUS bit sockets are for use with Torx PLUS fasteners only - these bit sockets are not compatible with standard Torx fasteners. Made with two piece construction S2 grade steel, one of the highest quality tool grade steels used in production, this bit socket is designed for endurance. A natural finish ensures that this socket won’t crack or peel like many chrome plated versions can.

Legacy GT Flywheel Bolts

Subaru decided to use this stupid bolt on their flywheels on my Subaru Legacy GT 05. I bought real flywheel bolts to replace them but it turned out the flywheel was crappy and I didn't know how to use a head with it so these bolts had to be sent back. I can't wait to upgrade my flywheel to get rid of these bolts because they are awful.

NOT SUITABLE FOR FORD BOLT!

I am very disappointed to read that this bit is used on Ford mounting bolts. I am trying to remove the bed bolts on a 2007 F250 and have tried it on a regular T-50 first but. 6 of the 8 screws came out but the remaining 2 gave me problems and the bit had a bit of play. I broke 4 different T-50 bits trying to break the bolts. After some research I found people saying that the bolts actually require a TP-50 bit. But I found this on Amazon and the description part even says that it is for the Ford

06 Ranger XLT Ext Cab RWD Front Seat Belt Bolts

This is for removing the front seat belt bolts from my 06 Ranger. The carpet has seen better days so I decided to remove the seats and seat belts, remove the carpet and pressure wash it. I've read on several forums that rangers use TP55 but mine had TP50 bolts for the front seat belts. It's worth noting that I also had to buy a T50 to remove the rear seats (TP or TorxPlus bits have thicker teeth). Before purchasing the outlet I'm considering, I went to AutoZone and asked the seller to try the…

just the part you need

The best ever! OMG it was such a pain finding this outlet. So I took the car to the transmission shop for an oil change and they said my mom ripped her torx 50 off so they couldn't do it. I did not know that they have such a thing as a plus. Anyway, I spent a week calling Subaru and they kept telling me NO NO NO you have 17mm or 15mm or whatever is wrong. I kept giving them the VIN and they kept saying no Subaru has a TP50 Torx. I'm like ALL you idiots, I'm not blind, it looks like a torx. In…
