This was the worst Otterbox purchase I have ever made. The protective plastic sheets were torn during installation. Nothing but cheap and flimsy plastic. It was an absolute waste of $80. Makes me reconsider any future Otterbox purchases. Stay away.

I just bought one of these to protect my duo 2 and am very disappointed. It appears to offer the same protection as Microsoft's own pen coating, minus perhaps more camera shock protection (making the former a much better product for less money). I've been using Otterbox products since their first tablet cases. Over the years I have purchased over 200 boxes for myself and my business. This is the first Otterbox case and I was very disappointed. The hinge broke in the first 2 weeks of use, the plastic just ripped. Otterbox support did a great job replacing the case immediately. I would like to give this product a much higher rating but the protection feels flimsy and unreliable as soon as I take it out of the box. Turned out to be pretty good on installation (which is a bit tricky at first glance). The device inside feels sturdier, but I personally think the hinge will snap with a drop, IMO. I rarely write reviews but for the sake of this company which I have had many cases and trust completely, go to the case design team and ask them what they were drinking when they got it "ready for sale", that's it. The case is flimsy, has I assume a screen protector that isn't taped to the screen so dust can collect between it and the glass, doesn't really cover (protect) most surfaces (maybe 10% of the phone).
