💡 Enhance Your Lighting with OttLite 15ED12R 15w Edison HD CFL Swirl Bulb Review

Sorry but this light only worked. 2 days, and then do not cut. I took the lamp to my electrician and he was told the lamp was great but the bulb had burned out. So not worth what I paid for it!

My office has no windows and offers happy, natural light that brightens things up. It's a very white light so keep that in mind if you're looking for more yellow/glow light. However, it doesn't start bleeding into the blue end of the spectrum like many other CFLs I've had. Highly recommended!

A friend told me about OttLite. The best advice I've ever received. OttLite makes a big difference in my office. In my own words, "It's the best, brightest, most natural light I've ever had on my desk." Don't let the low power fool you! I only have two questions: why did this unique Swirl bulb take so long to make and WHY can't I find these bulbs on the market?

Wonderfully bright and definitely brightened my mood. However, they started whining (an annoying high-pitched hum) when I turned them on and I couldn't help it. I called the company and they quickly sent a replacement but I still had the same issue. HOWEVER my ears are sensitive to pitch and I'm 23 so those a few years older may not hear it. I send them to my parents to use because I can't.

In the early days of compact fluorescent lamps there were almost too many options, but over time it became difficult to find "white" instead of yellow light bulb. I don't think I have seasonal depression, but I really like LIGHT, especially on cloudy winter days. This solved my problem so I stopped looking further. (I used to have them in my tailor shop, but now that the lightbulbs are dying, I'm replacing them throughout the house.

I am a jewelry designer and as I have a family and work from home I often work late into the night. I have two Ott-lite table lamps and am very impressed with them because they give off such a clean, neutral light that allows me to see colors as if they were in natural light. I bought these replacement bulbs for my Ott-Lites when one of them burned out and they are the same quality as they were in the original packaging when I bought my Ott-Lites. I am very happy.

I am a big fan of Ott Lite bulbs and am happy with their brightness range and color rendering index with Edison Helix energy saving bulbs. My only issue is that the 25ED12R is better, but it takes up space easily and can be tricky on screens. I try not to repeatedly cycle these bulbs on and off to keep them alive, but avoiding even 15W 900-nit bulbs from overloading my 120-nit monitor can be difficult. 25W achieves a brightness of 1500 nits. It's just that with a pair of reading lights that are actually used as reading lights, I wanted to take extra care to get the best possible reading light.
