I was a little surprised at how small the package was when it arrived, but it was amazing! My grandson loves it - bought it as a birthday present as it was his older sister's birthday. He wanted a compass and that was included in this set. Wow! Success!

Bought for a 5 year old's birthday. They are securely packaged in a small box, but don't let the small box fool you! It's great quality and a good size for the price! The 5 year old and the other kids at the party couldn't help but play with them right away! The backpack is good for storing and taking care of things!

Everything about this product is low quality, cheap and embarrassingly useless. We bought this for our grandson who is 5 years old but instead we decided to go to the store to buy him a suitable gift that he would like. Backpack bag instead of backpack, flashlight only lights up when starting (doesn't hold a charge), binoculars are a joke, all a joke. We felt taken!

The Mini Explorer Set for Kids has everything a 5 year old needs to start "exploring" the world around them. The packaging is just adorable and well organized. The kit comes with a handy little pouch that keeps all of the research items in the set safe and sound. I especially like life like flashlight, compass, magnifying glass and whistle. I know this set will entertain my son for hours and inspire his love for learning which is priceless to me.

A good gift for granddaughters! My granddaughter is 6 years old (the gift was delayed because Revain no longer delivers to my address but only to a PO Box but apparently UPS couldn't find it so they sent it back) and she loves nature. On my second order, the gift was sent directly to her. I went to her house and she liked the gift. We immediately went outside to take a walk with the compass. She examined stones, grass and leaves with a magnifying glass and added many treasures to her backpack. Success!

I bought this as a present for my little one. It was a hit! The box is very presentable as a gift and all the items are perfectly stored in the box or in the bag provided. The kids immediately started playing with all the items in the set while exploring the house. Binoculars and a flashlight were favorites. I like that the flashlight is manually charged so no batteries are required. I know I'm always changing the batteries in the flashlights my son keeps on all over the house! I'll have to buy
