Had two outdoor faucets develop leaks during a cold snap with single digits. Luckily they were not catastrophic breaks but obviously my foam and plastic wrap with a 13-gallon trash can for cover did not suffice. My faucets come up from the ground and stand about 15” high, these deep insulating covers did the trick and no new leaks. Have protected the faucets down to 12-degrees. Easy slip on installation but if you have squirrels or varmints use a trash can so they don’t get shredded

So far this winter this has kept my barn faucet head from freezing. Fingers crossed it works through the 20s and teens. I do wish they made and even longer one

It looks like a good product, well made and sturdy. Not big enough to fit over my hydrant and too short to do much good. If your hydrant only stands up 2 1/2 ft. it will cover it. My hydrant stands 3 1/2 ft. which leaves the lower part of the pipe exposed. I gave it to my neighbor who has a smaller hydrant and she really likes it.

I can't rate warmth, but I can say last winter I had no problems with frozen hydrants. So it must be warm enough to keep the pipe from freezing. Love it.

Well these were on my outside faucets during the Texas winter infrastructure meltdown and I had no broken pipes, so they do work. Now whether they would hold up with a prolonged Michigan winter I cannot say, but brief brutal Texas cold snap they came through for me.

Fits great over a large farmer’s faucet in our barn. Had an issue with that faucet freezing before using this cover and now that we’re using it the faucet is not freezing. It’s been a great purchase.

. NOT water proof! Had a good rain last night and the inside of the bags were wet. Hope they work when the freeze hits in a few days.

I use these cover to help protect the integrity of the water hydrants I have on our property.I really like the feel and the looks of these covers. They are insulated for better protection. I really don't know how long they will last but they look pretty durable.

After buying from a vendor who misrepresented their product I gave this company and product a shot. The cover fits with room to spare, easy to tie, easy to remove. Winning.

I highly recommend the 3M Thinsulate Sprinkler Freeze Protector Outdoor Faucet Cover for winter camping. It came in handy when connecting my RV to the water at a campsite and the temperature dropped below freezing. The cover was shipped right away and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This is not an all in one cover as there is only a thin plastic on the nozzle endyou must apply a regular insulation cover over the nozzle

I use this for winter RV camping. The frost-free faucets everywhere Ive been have been about 6-8” too tall when the handle is in open position.

My main problem was snow and rain freezing up the handle on the hydrant. Got the cover this morning. 16 degrees today with snow falling. At feeding time 5 hours after installing the handle was not frozen. The 10 inches wide fit the hydrant perfect. Had been using a feed bag to cover it. The black material will help also as it will absorb the heat from the sun.

At first glance, the faucet cover looks identical but it is thinner than the first one I purchased and not as heavy duty. Could become discolored or faded over time!

Loved how they fit and how easy they are to install and remove. Can’t say yet how durable they are since I just bought them. Seem well made.
