Good fire pit! in my review

It’s a good sized fire pit for sitting around with a few friends. I suggest getting a cover for it though because it’s already starting to rust on the lid.

Pros
  • Bought it for my son and he loves it
Cons
  • The fire pit may not be strong enough to withstand heavy use or abuse.

Easy to put together in perfect.

I love it, it's perfect I always wanted one and finally got one it was easy to put together. I love to sit and just enjoy watching it. It's beautiful

Pros
  • You get what you pay for. Just starter but probably will not last long
Cons
  • The mesh lid can become warped or damaged if left out in the elements.

It was really very easy to put together

I wish I had purchased a larger fire pit. It was really very easy to put together, and is great for a small fire (perfect for a couple). However not quite large enough if you’re having company.

Pros
  • Easy assembling and sturdiness
Cons
  • The fire bowl may not be deep enough to contain long burning fires.

Nice looking fire pit.

Nice looking pit. Lid started to rust fairly quickly, as I keep outside, even with no rain. Rubbed off the rust and painted with Rustoleum. Only used twice, so don't know about durability yet.

Pros
  • The thing I like most is the available heat through the mesh
Cons
  • The fire pit may create a lot of smoke and be an annoyance to neighbors.

Yes I would buy again

Was looking for a new fire pit and I really liked the shape. Wish it was bigger. Used twice now and works wonderfully. I keep mine covered while not in use. No rusting currently at this point in time.

Pros
  • This is a nice little unit. It's pretty decent looking for something so inexpensive.
Cons
  • The mesh lid can be difficult to secure in place.

Works Well - but rusts soon after installing it

It works well for a patio fire. Smaller than I am used to, but okay. On the negative side, the cover rusts immediately after the first rain. I'll repaint it with Rustoleum "high heat" resistant product to prevent the heavy rust. - I know it's iron and iron rusts, but I expected a better protective finish, such as the Rustoleum product, which I've used numerous times in past decades with good results.

Pros
  • It was nice...the one time we used it. Gathering firewood is a pain.
Cons
  • The fire pit may not provide enough warmth for larger groups.

Looks good; doesn’t put out much heat

This product looks good, but it is very shallow and doesn’t seem to put out much heat. I can stand next to it at 40-45 degrees and not feel much warmth. Additionally, there weren’t quite enough brackets provided for the lid to sit on (which holds the fire mesh lid.). I added a few after a trip to the local hardware store - but this should have been thought out.Steer clear and get something a little deeper.

Pros
  • Night out with my grandkids they love it burning marshmallows.
Cons
  • The steel material can be noisy when adding wood to the fire.

Repaint required good for me

Fire pit is is ok for what it is. The only thing I didn't like about is that once you build a fire in it, it burns off the so call paint and started to rust the first day of use. Repainted with high temperature paint with a semi gloss and works great.

Pros
  • easy to move around
Cons
  • The steel material can become very hot, making it a potential hazard for children and pets.
