Excellent Replacement - Hair Cutting Tools

Excellent replacement. This item does not come with a square piece that aligns the blade so keep your old one, no gaps are fine and the large teeth work well with the GTX version and allow for a good flow through thick hair. Installing a tension clamp or moving a larger blade is necessary to ensure a proper cut and prevent binding. You're looking for a crescent shape where the tension clip meets the ceramic blade.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Great price

Good product, worth what I paid

I'm a hairstylist with over 15 years experience and a total snob. After being recommended by a customer who is also a hairdresser, I was skeptical. But at such a low price, even after reading some "bad" reviews, I decided to give them a try. Not to knock anyone down, but when you say that they are not sharp, do not bite or stick, you just do not know how to adjust the blades. It is so easy. I adjusted them correctly and they are very sharp and provide an extremely sharp and clean line. They…

Personally I wouldn't recommend it or buy it again

It's not an Andis brand, it's an aftermarket product with a white plastic blade that I didn't like. I ended up going to Sally's beauty salon and bought the right blade. You don't mind paying more for the right product that does the job right

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Expensive

It is very smooth when using!

I promise I've bought several blades and this is a T blade but it's ten times better. I cut my hair often and these blades do not pull or scratch skin or leave marks so I would definitely recommend this blade and seller. Thank you and will be ordering again soon.

Medium blades recommended as spares, not daily

Overall this will do the job but definitely not as sharp as the original. Like some others I thought I had received a plastic item but after checking it turned out to be ceramic in fact. I bit it off to say it 🤔 That being said, the top blade's teeth are too wide for me for very sharp lines, and the bottom blade flattens out with very little wobble, making the zero gap across the line not as consistently sharp . Outline due to the way the teeth of the upper knife are arranged. I also found…

Shakes but will not cut

I installed this ceramic blade and it initially seemed like a legitimate purchase. However, after installing it, I felt like it didn't cut like an old metal blade. After a few weeks I finally noticed that the ceramic blade trembled so much when working that it caused problems when cutting. In NO CASE will it affect the original quality of the blades. Upon inspection and after adjusting the turnbuckle, I found that it was not suitable for the metal part it slides on. So when the engine shakes it

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
