Fits M1210 - Memory

Decided to play with an old M1210 I had laying around. Doubled the RAM and added an SSD and it's a noticeable improvement. I'm using Windows 10 and can now stream spectrum over Wi-Fi. I'd say SSD had the biggest impact, but I haven't seen buffer latency yet.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons

Great upgrade at a reasonable price

Look no further. This particular RAM is of excellent quality and has increased the speed of my laptop quite a bit. My comment is not dead yet. Thanks to Revan and the seller.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Security

Memory chips for older Apple iMac 24 " Intel Duo Core

I have a 2006 24" iMac and upgraded to Lion so I wanted to upgrade 2 memory slots with 4GB RAM. The memory was well priced and good quality to keep the Apple software running smoothly and keeping it 2006 like new in 2020.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some problems

Good price for a reliable product

So far so good. I had the opportunity to replace and upgrade the RAM in a 2009 Macbook which improved performance significantly - pages load and apps open so quickly. It's only been a month, let's see if it's enough. The price was good - there were cheaper kits available but no prime shipping - so it was more than worth it. The RAM was very easy to swap out. Video for extra confidence

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Dear

Legacy Mac products for internals

You know, it's kind of a shame that Apple went down the path of making the update harder. Thinner doesn't mean better. My old iMac still does everything I need and more. Before you spend $2,000-$5,000 on a new Mac, consider getting something older and installing updates for a fraction of the price. As always, do your homework.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Memory works as advertised and I intend to buy from seller again. I used Memtest86+ 8.4 to make sure the memory is working properly. This review is for the "OWC 4.0GB (2X 2GB) PC2-6400 Kit" that I purchased from Newer Galaxy Distribution Company.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Out of style

Simpatico with Macbook Mid 2009

I originally ordered a 4GB module from another seller to upgrade a 2009 Macbook from 4GB to 6GB, but the module was not compatible and was returned for a refund. I then ordered a 6GB Macbook Kit from OWC. This memory was detected and working very well as can be seen on the activity monitor. I like watching live news from all over the world and the performance is much better.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Security
