I like these measuring cups except for the magnets. The magnets are very weak and not strong enough for their intended purpose. If this is an important feature for you, you will probably be disappointed. I was also disappointed that the size markings (ie 1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4) are not engraved. For these reasons they are overpriced and I would not recommend them. It's a good weight and actually the best measuring cups I've ever had.

These are strong measuring cups, but they're not heavy! They easily scoop out packaged or hard brown sugar and won't bend. They don't tip over when empty. The size of the cups will likely wear out over time or as you use dishwashing additives, but you'll have them long enough to know what size each cup is. You can use the flat edge to easily align them and there are magnets on the handles to keep them aligned for storage. Great product at a great price that will last!

I've liked all the other OXO products but this one is a big disappointment. The measuring cups don't fit together properly without the plastic spacers, which I can't imagine after opening the package, and the handles are so thick that I find cups stacked inside each other take up more space. than they should. The Oxo brand has quickly become my go-to brand for almost every kitchen utensil. I've been using measuring spoons with magnetic inserts for a few years. It seems to me that they are easier to maneuver than spoons connected by a ring or chain. Yes, you can remove and replace spoons on a link or chain, but it can be cumbersome and annoying. Magnetic spoons are easier to detach from each other and easy to reattach. Review update - I know America's Test Kitchen rated it highly, but I'm surprised - after a few months of use, the underside of the magnet on the handle is rusting and peeling off! Whilst these measuring cups have some fantastic design features, other areas of the design seem to have been overlooked which negatively affects the functionality and usability of this product.
