The OXO Spiralizer is very similar to the Paderno Spiralizer. To disclose, I have owned Paderno for over a year and use it frequently. After a direct comparison I like the OXO model better. I like that the blades for OXO are stored separately in the box. With the Paderno, extra blades are stored under the device and get dirty every time I use it. I use my spiralizer almost every day. You're willing to pay more for better quality, but you don't always get better quality at a higher price. An illustrative example. This works well for zucchini and yellow squash. Not suitable for cauliflower. I used a chopstick as directed and the cauliflower fell into crumbs and florets after I fried almost half of it. I have a SEALED GRANITE counter, so according to many reviewers it may not work properly if you don't have granite or marble. But see below for a possible solution to this problem.
