Not the worst, but not the best either

This was my first mandolin as I wanted to see how much I would actually use before investing in a more expensive one. The blade is sharp (husband has a small scar and an interesting party history to prove it lol), the product is relatively durable and I've had no issues with the protective handles. Nice big work surface, sharp edges etc. But it's quite big and difficult to clean so it needs to be kept in a specific place and I only took it out when I really needed it. A kind of pain. Endless thickness adjustment as well as the ability to cut into strips, although this has never been practical for me. We've moved so all my good cooking essentials are still in the boxes and when I saw that this little food slicer…
