🧊 Optimized OXO Good Grips Ice Cube Tray Review

We took a simple concept and tried to complement it, but instead of something better, it turned out to be mediocre. Ice trays just need to freeze a decent ice cube that is easy to remove. It's never one or the other. The ice cubes are not very large, the lid is difficult to remove and put on, and the ice cubes are difficult to remove. I would have preferred the tray I had as a teenager to the automatic ice makers.

If you're like me and love ice in your drinks but get sick of cracking ice and breaking trays, then this tray is for you. The tray inserts are shaped like a lemon slice, so you simply squeeze one side of the ice and flip the other end of the ice cube up for you to grab. Thanks to the lid, the taste of your ice cream also stays fresh. We've had ours for a few weeks and I love it.

These are the best ice cube trays! I've tried several trays over the years and this is the easiest way to get dice out of the tray without squeezing out more than you need. I can literally pop out one cube at a time with just a light press on one side of a single cube, which you can never do with regular ice cube trays.
