Waterproof best in the kitchen and dining room

This is definitely an improvement over the standard oven mitt. The best part about using this product is that this silicone oven mitt won't soak up water like regular pot holders while cooking pasta and draining water. So many times before using this product I have hurt my hands with hot water soaking a regular oven mitt. I would definitely recommend this product.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Slightly disappointed with the quality

I ordered two of these to replace the pot holders I always had. I wanted something that would be easier to wipe off if some food got on it. At first they were great and very easy to clean. But both pot holders had the fabric frayed around the edges in several places within two months of receipt. I wanted to live them so badly, but I expected them to last much longer than two months.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • boring packaging

Very Easy to Use: Kitchen and Dining Room

I love how easy it is to just put your hand in your pocket. I keep mine on a small hook by the stove for easy access. Also, I like that it's a really pliable silicone that grips things easily. They are definitely thin, but the silicone keeps the heat away from your fingers quite well. I definitely prefer this to the shell-shaped silicone fingertips because they are very difficult to grip. I laughed a little at the price, but I have to say it was a good buy.

We work well. to potholders

I've been using potholders for a long time but haven't been able to find the right ones for a long time, so I decided to try these potholders with pockets. They work very well. I particularly like the grip of the silicone surface and its insulating effect. I like the bag because it keeps the potholder securely in hand. On the other hand, it takes some getting used to the fact that I don't have room for my thumb like in a mitten. I haven't washed them yet so I don't know how to get them clean…

Expensive for half what you need

This is normal and when I went back to check it was clear there was only one in the set. However, one of these isn't very useful except as a coaster - and there are many effective and beautiful coasters out there, so I wouldn't buy it for that purpose. They will work fine, but an expensive lesson. Potholders come in sets for a reason. I feel cheated even though I think I just didn't pay attention to details. However, in a Q&A, someone asked if a "set" of a certain color had come, and the answer

Wash well, keep hands cool no matter what

I saw these oven mitts recommended as oven mitts in the American test kitchen, so I grabbed a pair. I thought wow, I've never paid that much for oven mitts before, but that might also explain why I have to change them all the time and mine tended to look burned, or worse, didn't protect me from the heat. I burned my hand taking the pan out of the oven too many times with fabrics even if thick and layered. These things work! I will say the silicone is a little hard so it takes a little getting…

I LOVE these oven mitts

I have always used cloth oven mitts and oven mitts. They know what happens when they're wet or too skinny. So I decided to do a little research and see what multiple websites listed as the best. The Oxo Goodgrips Silicone Oven Mitts was one I've seen on sale a lot. I decided to give it a try. It cost more than I would have spent on my old guy, but I wanted to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. i like the color You can either place your hand to use or leave it on your back to use. They have a…
