    Everyone should have at least one of these

    Great stuff. This makes non-stick baking very easy. I hate using oil or aluminum foil on pans for everything so this is perfect. You can easily trim them to fit almost any pan.

    Excellent function in the casserole dish

    This OXO mat has an excellent grip and is quite large. Additional help, measurements and graphics. It's flimsy, but that's not a problem as it sticks well to the countertop. In my photo, the mat is still there after the cake bases have been rolled out. cleaning, breeze.

    May doesn't hold juices

    Thought I'd save on parchment paper etc. No, the juices drip onto the back of the mat causing the mess I was trying to avoid. Leaves a yellow stain on the mat after repeated use. Back to my aluminum foil so I can just roll it up and throw it in the trash without having to clean it.

    Great baking/dough mat!

    I like this carpet very much! It does exactly what I needed. I use it to bake bread, pastries and pasta. It keeps everything from sticking to my counter. Doesn't take up much space when stowed away. It has a great feeling. Very well done. It doesn't feel cheap. It is very easy to clean.

    Don't use a knife!

    I had to buy a second dough-like carpet because I cut my dough ball in half with a knife on the carpet. This cut left a piece in the middle of my rug. Learn from my mistake! Otherwise I love the carpet! It's a bit fiddly to clean as I hand wash my dishes but if you have a dishwasher I'm sure it's a lot easier!

    Cookie Baker Must Have

    I've never used Silpat so I can't compare the two but they are great for cutting out cookies. Non-stick, minimizes smearing, super easy cleaning. My only issue and the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is the size. I have Nordicware 1/2 leaf cutters, this mat is slightly wider to fit the floor perfectly. Maybe the pans are to blame and they would be better in a different brand of tray. They're a game changer anyway, I've used parchment paper while battling some recipes that were still…

    OXO Pastry Mat sticks well to countertops without sticking to food

    Tried Folksy Super Kitchen and OXO for comparison. The OXO stuck to the table better but could still handle food (of course this may depend on the material of your table top) and is fairly easy to clean. The OXO is slightly thinner than the Folksy Super Kitchen Mat making it more difficult to use overall, but in my opinion its performance outweighs it. really speak. But considering how sticky the dough can be as long as it does its job well.

    Works great with pastries.

    I bought the mat because the board I used for baking was old and difficult to clean. The OXO Good Grips Silicone Baking Mat used very little flour to prevent dough from sticking. The size was perfect as I roll out long and narrow dough. It's very easy to clean and takes up a lot less storage space than my old board. The mat stays in place while you work.

    While I like most OXO products, this one is clearly useless! For rolling out dough I found it terrible, even with refrigerated dough, well floured and product well floured, the dough was still sticky when rolling out. I had to use a paring knife to remove it. To me this product is worse than useless because it sticks to it less than it does to other things like my plain countertop.
