This napkin holder works well enough but doesn't look as pretty as the picture. The stainless steel is brushed and not very thick, so the holder isn't as impressive as it looks.

This was a big disappointment. In fact, this is a standard holder with a hinge at the bottom. You can pull the napkins out easily, but it's just as bad as most when it comes to grabbing the last pair tightly. It will be returned immediately!

I agree with another reviewer who said buy a good napkin holder. I went through so many different ways and got rid of them all. Ordered this and am so happy! Finally a napkin holder that dispenses napkins one at a time, they stay in place and it looks great! Thanks OXO - great product!

My husband bought this because our other napkin holder (which didn't squeeze the napkins as the lint was thinning) caused the napkins to wrinkle and fold as there were fewer napkins. This napkin holder works as it should, but unfortunately it's not very pretty, at least in my opinion. I ended up buying a bamboo replacement that does the same thing and is more attractive.

Handy for storing lots of paper napkins; However, after a few months of use, they fall out almost every time I move from the counter to the dining table. I think it needs rubber grip inside to prevent slipping and falling. The size is great, since you don't refill it as an offer, but the towels constantly slipping out are very annoying. I thought it would be helpful to post this review as there are so many conflicting reviews on this product - I see why! Your opinion of this holder depends on WHAT type of napkins you use. This may seem obvious to some, but not to me. I've posted three photos - the first one is full of B*&nty napkins (like paper towel tokens) - they are perfect! Stands straight and is easy to grab.
