Good price, was looking for a stainless steel meat tenderizer and this worked. product as described. I've washed it in the dishwasher a few times and it's still like new. Arrived on time, recommended purchase!

Great Product! Heavy enough to get the job done but light enough to use all the time. The side is flat and the other size has an embossed diamond pattern. I used both sides. Makes perfectly soft. I've only used it on chicken to make patties and it works great. I was able to make the chicken paper thin without tearing the meat. Highly recommended.

So far I've only used it for whipping/flattening chicken but it has worked well. It has a good weight and a comfortable grip. The quality is good, it looks like a durable material, not something with a metal coating. It stands dishwasher safe, but I've only hand washed it so I can't comment on how it holds up in dishwashing. I always put the meat in a plastic bag or cling film when rolling it out, washing my hands was enough.

I couldn't stop my wife from washing meat tenderizers in the dishwasher. They would all turn, and the metal would peel off a film—and flesh. two kicked out. While I tried not to wash it in the dishwasher, my wife inevitably washed it. I was pleasantly surprised when it survived with no ill effects on the metal. and of course it's great.

DISHWASHER POSSIBLE! This is one of the few dishwasher safe meat tenderizers available at a reasonable price. It's not that heavy, which could be a plus or a minus, but it gets the job done and the handle is comfortable to use. Our last fabric softener wasn't dishwasher safe, but we put it in the dishwasher anyway to kill bacteria. We might have had a clean plasticizer, but it was all dirty and looked awful. This works well, looks great and stays like new wash after wash in the dishwasher.

Meat mallet. You beat her meat. The handle feels comfortable, the hammer has a decent weight but is still light enough to be easy to handle and comfortable on the wrist. The finish is very nice and it looks a little better than grandma's meat tenderizer. Ideal for chicken when you want a nice flat surface for even browning. I've been looking for a meat tenderizer that is dishwasher safe and reasonably durable. This is one of them. Pros: Dishwasher safe. Higher quality metals (the description says "stainless steel" although it says "aluminum" elsewhere). The dual-use head softens well. As I work with meat a lot, I find it handy to be able to just throw it in the dishwasher. What if it can't be washed in the dishwasher? You might as well forget it, throw it in the dishwasher and ruin it - luckily it's dishwasher…
