Lost my other pumps from another manufacturer but this one beats them all. Works much better than the previous ones and keeps my wine fresh!

Doing their job. I use them for my wines and they last much longer than a simple cork. The only complaint is that durability isn't great and the pump is prone to failure over time.

Very simple and easy to use. I had a similar vacuum wine cabinet from another brand but it broke after a while. I chose OXO because I like the brand and some of them are made of metal which is definitely stronger.

Very well packaged. Good presentation. clear instructions. I first used this on a bottle of red 2 days after it was still drinkable. Usually with reds if you don't finish the bottle the next day it's a shame. It's worth it.

Easy to use. While I haven't tested this with wine, I filled an empty bottle halfway with water and then used a vacuum sealer. A week later I reversed the valve and it was still under vacuum. It only makes sense that it reduces the oxidation of the wine.

This thing sucks and not in a good way. I usually LOVE OXO products, I have a lot of them which are amazing. But the thing spoils the taste of the wine even after a day of "vacuuming". I gave him three different opportunities to prove himself. Lost on all 3 accounts. It's been a month and I can't return it.

Luckily my dog wasn't with us, otherwise he would have liked everything. I tried again today and it doesn't work. I used to have an oxo cork/filler but it broke so I decided to try this. The only thing that might be an issue is that it's sparkling wine.

Listing is misleading due to wording ('Steel Vacuum Container and Oxo Wine Preservative') and attached photo of 3 items. I thought I'd buy an oxo wine storage pump and 2 corks. I already have a pump and would like a second one. I will not be returning these plugs as I can use them. But I had to go and buy a second pump at a retail store; and it comes with 2 more stoppers that I don't need.

This is a set of vacuum stoppers with a matching pump. Since some other pumps I've had in the past have tended to seize, I looked at the design and figured this one should be more reliable. It has a smaller diameter pump shaft - 17mm versus the others' 22mm - meaning the same length has less friction and is less prone to sticking at an angle.
