They work well, but…

This device works well if you don't use an earthing switch, such as in B. a car door. You must use the positive side to activate the function, not the ground side. Otherwise it's a pretty cool product!

Works well. - Lamps

Nice little product that gets the job done. I installed in a special cabinet with LED strips in the side panels, there is no way to install a dimmer or 120V regulator, so everything was low voltage, and it helped, so there was no bright flash when the door was opened.

I love it! at Lights & Lighting Accessories

It works really well! Easy to install and set the cooldown. I had a problem with my first one and called the company. They have sent a new one and stand by their goods. My replacement had 0 problems. I'm very pleased with how well this thing works!

Smooth on and off transitions Fading

The stepping speed is very easy to adjust, and the size of the form factor allows you to hide it in small tight places. This requires correct polarity. If this doesn't work at first, check your polarization. Works perfectly in DC 9-12V with switch, enjoy! PS I'll be posting a video soon, let me chew by July and I'll post it.

NOT TRUE FADE ON/OFF - STEP ON FADE ON AND FADE OFF

It does not fade up/down to zero. It appears at 5-10% and then disappears. The opposite happens when steaming. This means you will see the LED flash abruptly for about 5-10% and then disappear. Attenuates to about 5-10% and then abruptly shuts off. It's kinda stupid to try this and not make it smooth. Regardless of the load, 1 LED or more identical results

Ideal for soft on/off LED strips

Ideal for currents up to 2 amps! Use them to light up a motion-sensing cabinet and they add a small but noticeable dimming on/off effect to the LED strip, causing the kitchen to light up softly, rather than abruptly to the full brightness of most LED strips switch off! The first speed worked best for me as the rest of the speeds were very slow but could be useful depending on your application!

Easy to integrate into custom schemes

I bought this hoping I could dim the LED strip I used for the vanity mirror I fitted, lighting powered by the HC-SR501 PIR sensor is controlled when you step forward from mirror. I was not disappointed. Pretty simple, I just need a transistor and a relay to pass +12V to the dimmer trigger when the sensor signal goes high. Using an on-off-on (SPDT) switch and a second relay, I simply activated a second circuit that bypasses the sensor and dimmer, allowing the mirror lighting to be set to always…

*EDIT: The manufacturer sent me a new one for free to replace the broken one. Excellent customer service. This product works exactly as advertised and I am very happy with it. The only complaint I have is that the insulation on the wires is quite difficult to strip off, but I got the job done.
