Not worth $20 for wire cutters

Product arrived on time but falls out when used. I bought it to replace a similar tool. The locking mechanism is difficult to use, mainly due to the fact that the hook that fits a real pen is bent and presses against the locking metal, making it difficult to lock and unlock. The twist function works as intended. like pliers and scissors

I love it! in pliers

Bought for grafting flowers. It's absolutely amazing, does exactly what I was hoping for and makes my life so much easier instead of having to twist the wire by hand. The jaws close well and tightly. The spinner slips out and comes back quickly. No bond at all. Good quality cut edges. Ideal for tight spaces and works well with .020" and .032" wire.

Pros
  • Free for training
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Pliers Sucks

This safety wire tool sucks right out of the box. The jaw is so big that it took a chisel and a hammer to unlock it. To fix the silly lack of quality control, with my very limited toolbox I had to use a dremel to sharpen the jaw and wire cutting part to get it working. In my opinion, this is an item that you should NOT BUY. Spend some money to get a better safety wire tool.

Just throw the money in the trash.

This really is the biggest junk I've ever bought. It wouldn't unlock at first when I got it and when I finally unlocked it I found out why it was pre-bent/deformed at the factory. This basically eliminated the twist function as now you can't lock the knob to twist the wire. Don't waste money. I only had to twist small sections, so twisting by hand with pliers worked for me, but I'll probably throw it in the trash after that.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • New competition is here

garbage, garbage garbage! for hand tools

I work in aviation and a good safety wire cutter is a must. I got them because I needed a small set for my job and didn't want to spend a lot of money. sorry it's cheap These are the worst pliers I've ever used. They are difficult to lock and unlock. The clamping surface is uneven, making it almost impossible for them to bite evenly across two pieces of .032 wire. They are absolute garbage for those who need them to make a living. Don't be cheap like me and don't buy Milbar's. It will be money…

Do not buy! suitable for hand tools

I have been a mechanic for 20 years and have never had a problem with these pliers. These pliers are poorly attached and don't even do their job. The spring does not work well. I had to pry off the pliers with a screwdriver to open the lock. On first use I couldn't lock the pliers properly when using them. 32 wires. As a side note, I left this piece of useless junk in the community toolbox. I've received hate mail from other mechanics. They thought I was pranking them by putting this tool in…

I WANTED TO READ THE REVIEWS

Just grabbed my first pop up tongs. They are exactly as described in most reviews I've looked at. CHEAP and VERY difficult to use. At first I thought I would find something wrong. I usually use a different pair of pliers to close the handles just enough to lock or unlock them. I only keep them because I'm stubborn and tried to sell them until I scratched them, fool. I don't need them for any work, just for a hobby, and even then rarely, so I'll suffer. THE PEOPLE PUT THEM THERE FOR A REASON
