🐸 Hikari Pacman Frog Food, 1.41oz (40g) - Pac Attack Formula Review

I bought these for my Pacman Frog. I read how they love to eat them. She refused to eat them, so for mealworms I break them into smaller pieces and they eat them. Probably won't happen again.

Of course my Pacman frog isn't very picky, but he likes it. He looked just like the frog on the box: round and happy. It's a staple for my Pacman and easy to digest as it's soft.

Great for my Pacman frogs. I wish the pellets were bigger, but they always seem to have a tendency to eat multiple foods, so it doesn't matter. However, I have found that if I follow the package directions and let the pellets sit for a full 2 seconds, they become TOO soft for my jet. So I quickly dip in distilled water and they're perfect for eating.

It is difficult to understand how to get a frog to eat a pellet, because only live food creates a feeding reflex in it. I have found that if I wait for my frog to shed its molt, which it does twice a week, it will open and close its mouth and I can pop a pill in during the molt without rattling my lips or the frog to irritate. I would review this product below before figuring out how to feed my frog. But now this product seems to really make it grow. Granules generally arrive dry, only…

This was highly recommended in the Pac Man FB group for the frogs that aren't growing as fast as they should. I read the reviews about the care and the trails. I thought we'd try. Well I just soaked it in water for a second or two as suggested by one. Then I rubbed it into our frog's mouth. He had no problem with that. He ate it right away. No questions. I have 3 Pacman frogs and wanted to add variety to their diet. Before I started feeding these pellets, they ate crickets, earthworms, and cockroaches. When I got them I gave them a test run and all three ate 2 pellets each! They love this food as much as their earthworms. The trick is to follow the directions and soak them for just 2 seconds, they should still be firm from the center. If you soak them too much, they will turn to a pulp.
