Currently. How can you do that!

Wires are color coded to match the numbers assigned to the relay. This is where the wires connect. Red - Power In (fused) #30 Black - Ground #85 White - Switch #86 Blue - Light #87 Yellow - Secondary Light #87a. If installing a lightbar, use only the blue wire and ignore it. yellow wire. If you are installing a pair of headlights (fog or high beam), use the blue wire for one headlight and the yellow wire for the second headlight. Hope that helps.

Changed to 1 star Update: Relay failed after a year. The relay clicks but doesn't provide any voltage, I opened it and the pads burned out. They have been used on car fans max 20 amps, they lived up to their warranty but I have a feeling they will continue to fail: Old Very happy with these relays. I used them for car fans. They draw 40 amps constantly, and the relays hold up amazingly well

They work. To start with

I ordered these to replace the rear window motor on my 1990 Ford Bronco. Following the instructions from FullSizeBronco.com I was able to successfully unload the dash switch and now the window goes up and down as it should. I haven't tested waterproofing, but they mount in the back corner behind the taillight housing and may be exposed to the elements, so I hope they don't leak. Overall they appear to be well made. I used 2/5 of the pack and they work.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Ideal relays for off-road toys such as RZRs and four wheelers

I use these in my Polaris RZR for accessories and radiator fans. They are waterproof and have never let me down. Before that I used automotive relays from an auto parts store with regular wires and connectors. You've let me down all the time. So I started searching the internet for sealed and waterproof relays and found them. Since I installed them and removed all my car relays I haven't had a single problem, they work and continue to work.

Waterproof relay

It just works and I use it in a truck with waterproof connections. I have a PAC TR7 that is used for triggering (TR7 is programmed to function 15, out of 3 in 5 seconds, which creates a 1 second output pulse to the relay). So in the cab of the truck I flip the switch 3 times in 5 seconds and TR7 sees that as its input and TR7 sends one. the second pulse to this relay. I did this because the TR7 doesn't provide the power needed to operate the large trunk lock, but the addition of this relay…

Not quite waterproof

Firstly I have used several of these relays before, at least 3 and they have all worked well in the engine bay. I used one to hook up an extra backup/high beam set and after about 3 months I noticed that my extra taillights were on but the truck wasn't. I flipped the switch to turn on the relay and the behavior reoccurred. I pulled out the relay and found that it was very wet and appeared to be connecting and actuating the relay. I was able to replace a new one and wrap it to better resist…

Good gauge wires

I wouldn't be afraid to use these for their current review! It says something in the world of cheap electronics. Wire gauges are as advertised, the airtight seals feel nice and tight, and the general build quality is better than what you typically get at this price point. If you are looking for medium power relays, feel free to try them. It would be nice if they included a schematic or two, but I just printed out the pictures from the Revain sales page. Although I don't think it would be a big…

The instructions for connecting the DN are not precise.

I read DN's wiring instructions and my fog/LED lights were not working properly. So I turned off the power and built a test circuit with an additional relay. This is how the wiring works. Red wire - power IN. Black wire - GROUND. White wire to SWITCH to turn on relay. The blue wire supplies POWER to your device. The yellow wire PASSES POWER THROUGH the relay when it is off. Here is an example. With 2 fog lights (Right and Left) connect the OBE wire to the blue wire and when the switch is off…

Good starter relays

People with burning relays please ensure you make solid connections (especially on the load leads) also if you are replacing an existing burnt relay there is a chance that the load, be it a Fan or something else, is drawing too many amps, check the load connection, it's probably burned and melted (this will generate a lot of heat over time and destroy your relays, or look for a loose or bad ground on the load. Read Seeing the specifications in the product description, this relay operates on…
